Title: Using USB Network Gate on AWS Instance
Post by: Dan Wagner on June 08, 2020, 03:51:31 PM
I use RDP to connect to AWS instance servers. When I attach the USB devices to my laptop and share them via USBNG they show up on the client under RDP USB Hub. When others use their own RDP to connect to the same AWS instances, the devices do not show up when I share them in the exact same manner. I thought with this product they would be able to be shared globally and not just locally. Is there something I am missing?

Hello,

If you want to share your USB device over the Internet, make sure that you have an external IP address, which can be visible and accessible from other computers.

On the client-side, you need to add the device by typing IP/Hostname of the server machine.
