Title: Syncmate problem

New on this and a bit of an amateur. Downloaded SyncMate a few days ago to sync data btw Android and Mac. Have sync-ed once. The second time the software frozen. Unable to quit software or use in any way. Software won´t allow me to shut Mac off or restart. Anyone had this problem? Plz help.
