Title: Error 2 on SGH-i600 aka BlackJack
Post by: dragi on April 09, 2008, 09:05:19 AM
Dear Eltima,

I´ve tried SyncMate with every new Build, but I can´t get it to work with my Samsung SGH-i600. After unlocking the Device SyncMate is able to install the driver an my device but when ever the driver starts, it says: Error 2, can´t start driver!.

I´ve deinstalled the driver, reinstalles it but it still doesn´t work.

Do you´ve have any solution for that Problem? Otherwise I think the only way to sync my device is MissingSync.

Thanx

dragi

P.S: When I try to start the OneTierPrompt I recieve an Error Message in my Inbox!

Hello,

I would recommend you to do a hard reset on your device. After that, please try to unlock your device again.

Dragi, I have the same "Error 2" on both my phones when the driver is started by SyncMate, but I -can- however manually start it. I don't know if this "workaround" also works for you, but you might try to manually start the driver BEFORE connecting your phone to you Mac. I don't even know if you -can- manually start it on a Samsung (it's not Windows Mobile is it?) but at least this works for me. :-)

Hello,

no, I can´t start it manually either!

Sorry eltima, but before I HardReset my Phone, I stick to missing sync...or build me an Webservice to Sync...

Goodbye

Hello,

Please follow the instructions below:

1) SyncMate.dmg -> Eltima SyncMate Uninstaller.pkg;

2) Download and install the latest build of SyncMate:
http://mac.eltima.com/download/syncmate.html

3) Remove as_starter.exe and AsyncSvr.dll files from the folder Windows on your device;

3) Reboot your device.

After that, please connect the device to your Mac.
