Title: Multiple processes
Post by: Rusty on September 01, 2008, 03:11:42 PM
Hello again.
In AAS I've found only one place to specify the executable when running an Application as Service, and then you can add additional applications to be run before or after the service is started.

We used to use another program (ServicePilot) that allowed multiple process to run as a service.
Is there any way of doing this in AAS ?
There's a screenshot attached showing the feature.

Thank you and best regards.

Agustin.

Dear Agustin,

Please, note that if you would like to run several applications as services, then it is necessary to create new service for each application.

I'm sorry.
I may not have been expressed correctly.
I know how to run several applications as different services.
What I want is to run several processes as a single service.

Can I do it in AAS and if not, do you plan to add this feature ?

Cheers.

Hello Agustin,

You could write sertain commands for launching your applications to batch file and run this file as service.

Hello Maritka,

Unfortunately, the issue is not quite clear. We'd be happy to help you if you provided more info. What software are you referring to? Please, be specific. Describe the exact sequence of your actions and which response you receive from the product.
