Error 577 - Did not load sniff driver(Read 1823 times)
Error 577 - Did not load sniff driver on: July 16, 2020, 01:37:01 PM
Hi,

I installed and activated the new version 8.0.388 of the Serial Port Monitor.
Now I get the error 577 (Did not load sniff driver) when I start the application.
Also a system rebot didn't help.
By a short search in the web and in this forum I couldn’t find a solution.

System info:
Windows 10 pro, x64, build 18362

I would be happy about support.

I'm still waiting for an answer.

The error dialog is send by the process SerialMonitorx64.exe.

This issue was fixed in the minor update. Please download the latest version of the application from our site

Hi Karyna,

thanks for your reply.
When installing your linked setup there was shown the message "Setup has detected that Serial Port Monitor 8.0.388 is already installed at your computer".

Nevertheless I performed a reinstallation and now Serial Port Monitor works. :)

I'm happy about that, because my company did buy 50 licenceses and we had much trouble to get it working on my computer (by multiple times contacting the support). Alltogether it took 3 months to be able to use the application!
