Slow (not effective) copying on SMB mounted drive. on: March 15, 2021, 09:32:03 PM
MacOS Big Sur: 11.2.1 (20D74)
Commander One: Version 3.0.3368

I have Synology NAS and mounted by SMB drive.
When I copying files from one folder to another (all folders are on the same SMB Drive) by Apple Finder - copying happens on the NAS. No network activity. As result - it is happening very fast.
But when I am doing the same by Commander One it happens very slowly and it is taking a lot of network resources. Looks like Commander One at first downloading it to my machine and only then upload it back!
Downloading and parallel uploading is not necessary in this case (all copying happens on the one SMB Drive!).
Apple Finder makes it correct, but Commande One - no.
Please help me to solve this problem=)
Thanks a lot!

If you copy/paste the files that are on the SMB Drive in Finder, the copy process will be held on the same basis as in Commander One.
Kindly provide us a screencast of the copy process on the SMB Drive (you may send the link to your GoogleDrive or send it to our email
