Automatic Service(Read 14779 times)
Automatic Service on: September 01, 2008, 03:02:34 PM
I'm using a Windows Server 2008, and I noticed that after configuring a new Application as Service and setting it as Automatic Startup Type, it only starts after log in the user, not inmediatelly after reboot.

AFAIK automatic means that as soon as the system is up the service is run.
I am missing some configuration ?

Thank you.

If you set Automatic Startup Type, then the service will start automatically by Service Control Manager prior to login session. How  can you define that the service starts after login?

Because the service runs a HTTP server, and this is not available until I log the user.

Don't know about you but I'm using HFS and it is working fine as it starts prior to login of a user that I've specified...
