Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control - Xon/Xoff issue(Read 9530 times)
Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control - Xon/Xoff issue on: January 08, 2009, 08:32:51 PM
Hi to all,
I've got a problem using the VSPAX Control.

I use an external application attached to a vsport created in my own application. When the data stream sent from my external application contains a 0x13 byte value, the data transfer is interrupted (last byte recieved is 0x13) and I don't receive all the data sent from the external application.

Example:

Data sent from the ext. app  :  0x20 0x96 0x13 0x48 0x22
Data received from the vsport:  0x20 0x96 0x13

It seems to be an Xon/Xoff issue...

I've tested the FlowReplace mask and it is set to 0 (ZERO) so the Xon/Xoff control should be disabled. I've also tested the external application using a real COM port and it works without any problem.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Valentino

Dear Valentino,

We deeply apologize for all the inconveniences you have experienced.

We are aware of this problem and are working hard on fixing it as soon  as possible.

We have noticed that in some cases it is possible to send xon/xof using WinAPI methods.

Please, could you try that.
