It seems that the latest builds are linking to a non existent library (libproc.dylib) in 10.4.11.

What's going on? The very first build was working...

OS Version:     10.4.11 (Build 8S165)
Report Version: 4

Command: Folx.real
Path:    /Volumes/Folx/
Parent:  WindowServer [56]

Version: ??? (

PID:    1370
Thread: Unknown

Link (dyld) error:

Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libproc.dylib
  Referenced from: /Volumes/Folx/
  Reason: image not found

The issue you have encountered is already fixed and won't be present in the forthcoming release of Folx.

The reply was made since June 1st, but the build for download remains the same one which causes the problem. Please indicate when the forthcoming build is coming out, or at least provide a way to download older build that didn't cause this problem. I downloaded build and found the same crash problem.

I've found this exact same problem when downloaded Folx yesterday. When I switched to build the problem remained. Could you provide an option to download older build that doesn't have this problem?

Furthermore, I used to have an the version that has been working before I removed it. Now I found that when I right-click some links there still is "Download with folx" in the contextual menu. Is there a way to remove that?

(PPC G3, Mac OS 10.4.11)

We will investigate the issue you've encountered with Folx crashing at your computer and reply within a few business days.

If you are currently experiencing some issues while uninstalling Folx, follow the instructions below:

Currently, when you simply move Folx application to trash your browser still thinks that Folx plugin is in place and will try to use it.

If you no longer have Folx in your system, please, delete the following components manually as well:

Library/Internet Plug-Ins/FolxNetscapePlugIn.plugin

~User/Library/Application Support/Eltima Software/Folx

~User/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/FolxNetscapePlugIn.plugin

The issue you've encountered has actually been fixed. However, Folx build with your issue fixed has not been officially released yet. To my knowledge it will be released within two weeks or so.

I was crashing with the new version until I set it so that my computer would allow it to use more than 2GB of memory. I never had to do that before with CAW, but tried it and for me it solved the problem.

OK, I managed it. If you want an updated file the only difference is that it does not crash at the place you found its at exactly the same name and location as before check the old email. Thanks for being patient.
